Below is a link to the Supernatural Wiki that has a complete list of all the available species in the SPN world. On HU, members are capable of playing any of these species, so please follow the guidelines that are already set for these species. I.E., only play a vampire as they are(looks, vulnerabilities, etc) as they are in supernatural. For into, see the link. If your character has any special abilities, other than what is listed for them, then please direct those abilities to staff. Every species will fit into a particular member group that is allowed on site. If you are unsure what group your character will fit in, please consult staff and we'd be happy to help you.
Deities
Gods/Deities, or the Old Gods, are a race of immortal supernatural entities, with each being a prime authority in the religion or pantheon that they established or belonged to. This includes God and Amara. To keep things fair, we will no allow any original gods - only gods/deities that exist in documented mythology. Though gods may have been supreme in their myths, deities are secondary to God and Amara and therefore, cannot overpower them.

Heaven
Heaven consists of all the spirits that reside in Heaven as well as aligns with them. This includes all Angels (Archs, Seraphs, Cherubs...), who originate from or reside in Heaven. By following the SPN guidelines, the Arch Angels are the strongest Angels ever created. Fallen Angels will still be considered apart of Heaven, only if they remain loyal to it.
- Arch Angels: Archangels are the strongest class of angel, being looked at as Heaven's most fearsome wrath. They were the first Angels to be created, arguably making them God's first creations, possibly older than Leviathans. Archangels were harder to make and are harder to revive as they were formed from such powerful primordial energies of creation which no longer exist after the physical plane and universe were created. They were created in this order: Michael, Lucifer, Raphael, and Gabriel.
- Seraphim: Seraphim are a higher class of angel, above normal angels such as Uriel and Joshua, but lower in status than archangels. Their exact role in Heaven is unclear. Could be similar to the Central Intelligence Agents of the United States.
- Fallen Angels: A fallen angel is an angel who was expelled from Heaven. They are not a class of angel and therefore they look no different than normal angels. An angel who has fallen may or may not retain all of his or her abilities, depending on the rank of the angel. For example, a fallen Seraph, like Castiel, retains all of his powers, whereas a standard angel would lose a few of his or her powers, such as smiting and healing. A fallen angel's blood can be used in the Leviathan killing weapon. A fallen angel will only be considered part of heaven if their intentions remain pure. Known banished angels include Lucifer, Zachariah, Castiel and the Grigori.
Hell
Hell consists of all the spirits that reside in Hell as well as aligns with it. This includes all Demons (Archs, White-Eyes, Red-Eyes...) and Primordial Beings (The Horsemen, Deadly Sins...). Demons are the common loyalist of Hell for the most part. Souls that are damaged or those of people who have made deals are sent to hell where they are sentenced to torment as they so deserve. The grigori, former angels of god are also part of the hell category. The Grigori were a squad of elite angels who were sent to watch over and protect humanity, but turned bad. They were believed to have been wiped out, but few of them survived. Some of these Angels survived and began preying on humanity, kidnapping humans, trapping them in dream states of their perfect Heaven and feeding off of their souls. These angels had angel swords instead of angel blades, with each of their names written on them. There are many types of demons in hell, the black eyed demons being the lowest in the pecking order.
Magic
Magic beings are those who are born or are given supernatural powers beyond the human capabilities. Those who fit this category are capable of performing magic in some shape of form as it follows: Fairy Magic, Witchcraft, Seers, and Prophets.
Fairy Magic: a powerful form of magic that is exclusive to fairies. Because there are many variations of fairies, there are also many variations of fairy magic that is specific to the fairy. While bright fairies practice bright magic, dark fairies practice dark magic. Fairies also exhibit other powers such as shape-shifting, telekinesis and teleportation. Some fairies share similarities with genies, where they are forced to grant wishes to the person who has summoned them. Other fairies share similarities with demons, where they will make deals with humans in exchange for their souls or something of value to them.
[/li][li style="text-align:justify;"]Witchcraft: a practice of magic that encompasses many different types of activities including astrology, divination, spell casting, and spirit communication. It includes the practices of many cultures, nations and religions as well as many books and writings from ancient times. Depending upon the individual, some humans practice their power by certain belief systems, such as Voodoo, Wicca, paganism, or any number of other magical practices from countries and cultures all around the world. Magic used by extremely talented witches like Rowena is also able to heal even the most powerful beings like Amara. (Note: Although witchcraft is commonly practiced among humans, other species have been known to practice witchcraft as well.) Those who practice witchcraft can use their abilities for good or evil as there is no law governing them.[/li][li style="text-align:justify;"]Seers & Prophets: are people who have the gift of clairvoyance. Most of the time they do not have the ability to choose what or whom they see in the future, but receive visions. Seers are most often mortals at their most basic levels, but can be other species as well. The ability of the seer depends on the individual. Prophets are similar to seers in the sense that they may have sight into the future. However, prophets report only what God has asked them to, having been created by he himself.[/li][/ul]
Monsters
Monster is the collective name given to the children and descendants of Eve, and other supernatural creatures. Although referring to many different species, some share a point of origin, and traits. They are supernatural creatures with extraordinary strength and powers and abilities. They commonly prey upon humans. The strongest monsters are known as Alphas, which are considered to be the originals of each species. Monsters on HU should be limited to those on the show, as listed in the Supernatural Wiki link above.
Hunters/Mortals
A hunter is a being, usually a human, who hunts down the supernatural and saves people from monsters, demons, ghosts and other creatures. Mortals are simply those with mortal souls and can die by normal means. Mortals are also called humans and are the majority species on Earth.
