Over the course of their lives, the Winchester Brothers have proven themselves as worthy and capable hunters. From saving civilians on a regular basis to saving the world from the apocalypse, they’ve stood the true test of time. Most recently, they dealt with the hardships in trying to overthrow Amara, all while learning that God has been in their midst this entire time disguised as the prophet Chuck.

For a brief while, the storm was calm. Though monsters continued to wreak their usual havoc on the world, Sam and Dean were given a break from disaster formerly ailing them. As God and Amara took a hiatus from the world to work through their differences, all was quiet. But the peace was simply a commercial break – the horror show did not take long to resume.

With such celestial magic as that that radiates from God and Amara, it is difficult to explain their true capabilities and limitations. Their existence in the world together, peacefully, brought forth an unbalance in the world and all hell has broken loose. A seal on time, space, and hell itself has been broken and a portal exposed in the heart of Seattle Washington. Like nothing ever seen before, the world seems to have reversed itself in the present day and age. All the monsters and things that go bump in the night have returned to life, even after the Winchesters have put them to their death. But that is not all – so too have lost friends, family members, and innocents been brought back from the afterlife.

The physical repercussions of this catastrophic even are obvious: mortals are being picked off one-by-one by supernatural creatures, hell’s army is growing, buildings and power lines are downed, and a dark haze sits over the sky. Though these effects are centralized over Seattle, where the portal is open, surely it will soon travel to the rest of Washington and then the United States. For now, authorities are labeling this as a Natural Disaster and warning the surviving citizens to stay tucked away safely. Military relief stations have formed to pass out clothing, food, and temporary shelter, but their supplies are quickly depleting. To make matters worse, cell phone towers and power lines have become nearly inoperable, sending the city into mass chaos.

It’s time for apocalypse round two. This time, all of Hell seems to have been unleashed.
